About The Author

Xavier DeSoto was born a stones-throw away from “The Wall”, the State Penitentiary in East Texas—but outside the walls. That’s where he got his first interest in the inner life of criminals, detectives and murder mysteries. He has worked as a psychiatric orderly, a cameraman, a door-to-door salesman, factory worker and sold time shares. He transplanted to New Orleans, Louisiana, in his early twenties, worked his way through college before serving as a copywriter, TV director, and program director. He has owned a real estate magazine and the Eternal Rest Casket company. Later in life, he returned to college for a second career and second degree, trained as an RN and worked as an ICU coordinator. His hair started turning gray in his mid-twenties. He is currently writing his third novel, Mardi Gras Madness, which will debut next year. Xavier lives in New Orleans, Louisiana with his wife and a dog named Lola.  Xavier would love to hear from you, so don’t hesitate to contact him.
